Complete sold out its entire run in the 2009 FringeNYC, was selected for the FringeNYC Encore Series, and was a finalist for the 2009 Princess Grace Award. Complete was developed in the Z Magic Monday reading series at Magic Theatre in San Francisco, as well as in the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, and at The Z Space Studio. 2009 FringeNYC & FringeNYC Encore Series production: Directed by Birgitta Victorson With: Stage Manager: Lisa McGinn* COMPANY BIOGRAPHIES ANDREA KUCHLEWSKA (Playwright) is currently writing a series of plays about Americans and language. Complete, the first in the series, was a finalist for the 2009 Princess Grace Award. Andrea is developing The History of English, about the 1996-97 Oakland Ebonics controversy, with Oakland Public Theater in Oakland, CA, and recently workshopped And So We Became American in foolsFURY Theater Company’s FURY Factory festival in San Francisco. Andrea’s work has been developed or produced at The Z Space Studio, El Teatro de la Esperanza, Woman’s Will, Amnesia, The Marsh, Venue 9, and Climate Theatre in the San Francisco Bay Area. Andrea is a member of the Women’s Development Group at The Barrow Group Theatre Company in New York City and is an artist in residence at The Z Space Studio in San Francisco . She holds a BA in linguistics from the University of California at Santa Cruz and an MFA in playwriting from San Francisco State University. BIRGITTA VICTORSON (Director) most recently directed and choreographed the new musical Paris by Night at Trinity Repertory in Providence , RI , and she will return to Trinity Rep later this year to direct its annual production of A Christmas Carol. Her other regional theater directorial credits include The Book of Liz (Roadworks, Chicago), Iggy Woo (Brown/Trinity Summer Playwrights Rep, Providence) and co-directing Fatty Arbuckle’s Spectacular Musical Review (Second City Theatricals, Chicago), which she also choreographed. Other choreography credits include The Encyclopedia of the Dead (Miloco Theatre, Prague, CZ) The Ghost’s Bargain (Two River Theater, NJ), Among the Thugs (Goodman Theatre, Chicago), and Stupid Kids (Roadworks, Chicago) for which she received a Joseph Jefferson Nomination for Best Choreography. She has also directed new works by Molly Rice, Cory Hinkle, Andy Bragen, Enrique Urueta and Elyzabeth Wilder. Birgitta is a graduate of Northwestern University , and she received her MFA in Directing from the Brown/Trinity Consortium. LUCY OWEN* (Eve). This is Lucy's second Fringe production (Time et. al., 2008). Regional credits include Berkeley Rep (Cloud Nine), Theatreworks in Mountainview (Shakespeare In Hollywood), San Francisco Shakespeare Festival (Henry IV, parts 1 & 2; The Winter’s Tale), PCPA Theatrefest (Arcadia, Amadeus, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Romeo and Juliet, Skylight), Porchlight Theatre Company (The Seagull, An Ideal Husband), and Theatre of Note/Halpalis production of Three Sisters (Natasha) for which she received “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” awards from both Eye Spy LA and Review Plays.com. She can be seen in the upcoming film, In Praise of Shadows, starring James Franco. Lucy is a graduate of the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts and a proud member of Actors’ Equity.ZAC JAFFEE* (Micah/Voice). Film & TV: Emmy-award winning A Woman Named Jackie, Scarred City, Law and Order SVU (recurring role, Detective Tatum), Young Indiana Jones Series, New York Undercover, One Life to Live (recurring role), All My Children. SOPHIA NICOLE RODYAKIN (Evie). Recent credits include Kids on the Road … Touring Performance Troupe, Spelling Bee, Sinatra Birthday Bash ( Count Basie Theatre , NJ ), Alice in Wonderland (Random Farms Kids’ Theater), A Little Bit of Broadway (Footlights Musical Theatre Co. of Allegro Dance Academy, NJ). Training: TV, theater, and stand-up comedy at TVI Studio in NY and CA; voice with Marcy DeGonge; acting at Count Basie Theatre , NJ ; dance and musical theatre at Allegro Dance Academy , NJ . In her spare time, Sophia enjoys alpine ski racing, reading, and painting. LISA MCGINN* (Production Stage Manager). Previous credits include Mirror Rep Theatre (The Shanghai Gesture), Potomac Theatre Project (Therese Raquin), Two River Theatre Company (Mary’s Wedding, A Year with Frog and Toad, ART), The Old Globe (I Just Stopped by to See the Man), Lake George Theatre Lab (Four by Four), Soho Playhouse (A Stone Carver), Passage Theatre (The Deacons, Second Line), Berkshire Theatre Festival (This is Our Youth, Pound of Flesh), Prospect Theatre (Dark Nights Festival), Stage 13 (Elephant in the Room!), Park Performing Arts Center (The Passion Play). Lisa has also worked at George Street Playhouse, Playwright’s Theatre, Shadow Lawn Stage, The Bickford, Charlotte Rep, NJPAC, Algonquin Theatre. KAREN FLOOD (Costumer Design) has a BFA from the School of Visual Arts. She has been a costume designer for over 13 years. She costumed a show in the first New York International Fringe Festival. That show was Kirk Bromley's icarus and aria… and she has since costumed almost every one of Bromley’s plays. She also originated the costumes for Urinetown. Her clothes have been seen on Sex and the City, The History Channel and in many independent films. CHRISTOPHER STUDLEY (Lighting Design). Christopher’s work for the past 10 years has focused primarily on new plays in the San Francisco Bay Area. World premiers include designs for Encore Theatre Company, The Magic Theatre, Intersection for the Arts/Campo Santo, Fools Fury and Killing My Lobster. East Coast credits include The Ones that Flutter/SPF; The Scariest/The Exchange@ 45 Bleecker; Devil on all Sides/P.S. 122; Driving Miss Daisy, No Child, Copenhagen/Delaware Theatre Company; Private Lives/Two River Theatre. His work has also been seen at Bali Arts Festival Indonesia, A.C.T. Conservatory, Aurora Theatre Company, Center Repertory, SF Playhouse, Theatre Abydos, and the Pacific Alliance Stage Company. In 2004 and 2005 he received the California Elly Award for Best Lighting Design. Christopher’s lighting was selected for the Prague Quadrennial 2007 by the USITT. DANIEL KLUGER (Sound Design). She has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Puerto Rico , has done extensive theatre research in the U.K and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in British Theatre at Columbia University.
